Situated in Manhattan's Chelsea neighborhood, 158 West 27th Street was built in 1913. The Lobby had already undergone several renovations when SDudio was brought on board to renovate the Lobby to be more inviting to the creative companies that make Chelsea their home.
SDudio transformed what was a dark and fussy interior into a fun yet elegant Lobby with an iconographic marquee. A new facade with oil rubbed bronze doors and trim leads into a Lobby that now celebrates its original decorative ceiling with whimsical halo shaped uprights.

Other creative elements include an oversized touch screen directory that hosts tenant graphics, reclaimed wood wall baffles, and sculptural wood benches. A splash of color comes courtesy of the custom commissioned painting at the entry.
